TR/ST – 9.11.14 @ Cine El Rey

Trust_3

It is with great pleasure to announce a show with one of the most unique up and coming electronic pop artists of today, TR/ST, performing at Cine El Rey on Thursday, September 11th! Tickets for this event are on sale now at Ticketfly.com, which may be purchased quickly and safely by clicking here.

Amidst an ocean of imitative modern dance pop, the shadowy, synth heavy swells and waves of TR/ST are a bit of a godsend for those who can appreciate a dark and unique twist to their electronic pop. It’s a sonic disposition unique to Vancouver based producer and songwriter Robert Alfrons, one that, since its debut within TR/ST in 2012, has garnered glowing praise from the Guardian, Pitchfork, and even a Junot Nomination for album of the year. With ongoing praise and a growing underground fanbase, it’s refreshing and exciting to have scored a rare performance from TR/ST, who we managed to secure before the projects headlining performance at Austin’s premier queer festival, Stargayzer on September 12th. TR/ST’s McAllen date on September 11th is one that is rare in itself, so be sure to take advantage of this unique one-off experience.
