We are teaming up with our friends in strangeLove Productions to present one momentous party: Christian Bland & the Revelators (lead guitarist of the Black Angels / pictured above) with the Peppered Moths, the Sad Campers, and the Rotten Mangoes (debut show) – Friday, August 30th at Space 16! This is all in celebration of strangeLove Productions having their final show in the South Texas area for some time, so if you were one of the many who vibed HARD to one of their excellent shows with Holy Wave, Guantanamo Baywatch, the People’s Temple, Eureka the Butcher (list goes on – these dudes killed it this year), then you’ll know that this is a big deal. If this is your first strangeLove show, DON’T MISS THIS, as it’s going to be crazy.

Christian Bland is based out of Austin TX, and is the lead guitarist for what is arguably Texas’s best psychedelic rock and roll power house, the Black Angels. What’s more, is he is also a huge figurehead in the Texas original rock circuit community, being one half of the creative energies invested in curating the amazing Austin Psych Festival, as well as being the founder and manager for the Reverberation Appreciation Society, an Austin based record label that has put out excellent acts like Holy Wave, the Cosmonauts, and way more.

Joining the Revelators will be our favorite young garage punks, the Sad Campers, as well as the psych jammers the Peppered Moths, and the debut of the Rotten Mangoes.

What’s better, is strangeLove has arranged for two major perks at this show:

-excellent in between band tunes will provided the prolific Dios Del Ghetto and visualist Dodie Dankie.
-B.Y.O.B. for the 21+
